Did you know that getting a mammogram can help save lives? A mammogram is an important test that can find breast cancer early, even before you feel any symptoms. Early detection is key because it gives you the best chance for successful treatment. By getting regular mammograms, women can catch cancer in its early stages, when it is easier to treat.
The Adair County Health Department is hosting the new Mobile Mammography Unit from MU Health Care on April 2, 2025. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, call the health department at 660.665.8491 and press 4.
